Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell (born Shay Mitchell) is a Canadian actor, model and businesswoman. She is best known as Emily Fields from the Freeform TV show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo is the nickname of an avid Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fan who became popular among the group of friends. Shay Lo developed an interest in the performing arts as a child and also discussed with her parents about starting an occupation in this field. Mitchell wanted to study lessons in acting at Toronto after achieving great results in modeling and dance. Mitchell got a few commercials, and she played in guest roles on TV series. Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Emily Fields. The critics and the fans alike were impressed with her performance. The Possession of Hannah Grace, Mother's Day, and Dreamland were some of the films that made her a star on screen. Her name gained more attention for her role as a psychological thriller in You. Shay Mitchell's writing skills have expanded beyond acting. In collaboration with Michaela Blney, they wrote an adult book titled Bliss.
