Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she took flute lessons and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her funds. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when as compared to the performance of the other students. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox was initially an instrument player with the group Dragons Playground. But she quit when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. She was the voice in The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva, which was released by 1992. It was an enormous achievement with regard to sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. Her first album"Now I'm Letting You go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva with many of her most popular songs like Why as well as the song Walking On Broken Glass.
